I was thrilled to get a wonderful package in the mail yesterday. When you know something is on the way, you keep waiting and waiting. It arrived!

My talented friend and Waldorf mama Jen from Ancient Hearth is an amazing needlefelter.You may remember she crafted a spring maiden for me on my homeschooling blog, School for all Seasons.

My summer nature table was looking sparse and we have such a long summer season here, I  really wanted something to add some life & love to the table.

We now have a lovely mermaid to add to our overflowing collection of shells (we live at the beach). I was so inspired, that I began to needle felt a dolphin to go with her! I will update these pictures when it is complete.

She also sent me the most adorable witch! I cannot wait to give her a proper home in October.
