“These workshops have given me the confidence I needed to move forward and do it!” – Beth
I know when I first got started, I couldn’t understand some of the concepts that I needed teach to my children. I struggled, I searched online websites, I read books and tried to ask for help. It was frustrating, and very time consuming, but I knew this was such an exceptional form of education, I was willing to put in the time and effort. Now, I have a lot of the basic ideas, but my children are young and there will be many steps to learn along the way. I would rather spend time knitting or playing with my kids than searching and planning! How about you?
“I am finding that having the downloads are helping me to relax and be more grounded, instead of feeling overwhelmed, anxious and trying to manipulate too much all at once…. I am finding I really like it when I *hear* the author explain things….makes me feel truly connected to them!” – Cat C.
Why These Workshops are Priceless!
I realized early on I needed much more support that what was available to me locally. In fact, there is no Waldorf-inspired group near where I live. I turned to the online Waldorf community and what a help it was! I honestly don’t think I would be homeschooling in this way, had it not been for the resources I found online. At first, it was hard to find anything much about Waldorf. But, recently a wide variety of wonderful materials has become available! To me, it was still a challenge to figure it all out. I am a visual person that likes to “see it”. Or at least, ask someone questions until it makes sense. I was tired of waking up in the night wondering if, “Am I doing this right?” “Should I be doing more? less?” As homeschooling parents we make some very important decisions about our child’s education and lives. How could I make all this fit ? I like to see all the pieces of the puzzle before I put it together.
“I’ll be listening again and again as the children grow. It gives me confidence to have those seeds planted now so I have some sense of direction for the future and also to be learning some ‘theory’ along the way. Thanks for the opportunity to be a part of this”. – Jeanette
